Not less than one hundred thousand Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are expected to perform flights simultaneously in Russia by 2035. The UAV fleet capacity triggers the development of systems for informational support, operating control and management (Unmanned Aircraft System Traffic Management (UTM) systems) similar that already manned aviation. challenges arising sphere civil aviation cannot be solved without wireless communication. goals this article as follows: 1) familiarization communication experts with latest scientific developments unmanned aerial technologies 2) description telecommunication-related problems extensive encountered engineers. In a schematic architecture main functions UTM described well examples their implementation. Special emphasis is put on enhancing flight safety means rational choice manage conflicts (Conflict Management) known "collision avoidance". analyzes application wide range ranging from Wi-Fi Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) 5G cellular networks cell-free contributing 6G networks. As result analysis, list promising research trends at intersection fields UAVs made.
